3. SMS and Text Messaging

Arizona Long Drive uses SMS text messaging to send one-time verification codes when players register and provide a mobile phone number through an Arizona Long Drive registration form. The verification code is used to confirm that the phone number was entered correctly and is controlled by the person registering.

Arizona Long Drive may use the verified mobile phone number as the player’s unique identifier for registration and player records. The mobile phone number may also be used to associate the player with:

• Event participation
• Scoring and results
• Rankings and leaderboards
• Divisions and flights
• Long Drive Index records
• Drive and performance data
• Related competition and registration records

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies but is generally limited to verification, registration, event administration, and related transactional or informational communications.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
