About Us

AZ Long Drive is building a new way for golfers to compete. Our technology-driven long drive events combine distance, accuracy and flighted competition so golfers of all driving abilities can compete against players with comparable driving performance.

From outdoor ranges to indoor golf venues, AZ Long Drive gives players a measurable, competitive experience powered by the Long Drive Index® and our growing network of events.

What Makes Us Different

Flighted Competition

Innovative Competition Formats

Flighted Competition

Players compete against others with comparable driving ability, rather than simply by age or traditional divisions.

Long Drive Index®

Innovative Competition Formats

Flighted Competition

Similar to the Handicap Index that measures scoring potential, the LDI measures driving potential and determines flight placement.

Innovative Competition Formats

3Ball® and Long Ball give players different ways to compete, emphasizing not just power but consistency and accuracy.

Built for Every Golfer

AZ Long Drive gives golfers of different drivabilities a fair way to compete. Instead of relying on traditional age-only divisions, players are grouped into flights based on their demonstrated driving performance and distance. The result is more competitive matchups against golfers with comparable distance potential.
