The Arizona Long Drive League is a golf league built around the most exciting club in the bag — the driver. It’s a competitive, high-energy league designed for golfers who love power, distance, competition, and the adrenaline of live sports.
Open to the public and members, the league features regular-season events where players of all skill levels can compete in a fair and exciting format.
What makes the league unique is its proprietary Long Drive Index, a performance-based system that places players into competitive flights, creating balanced match-ups and giving everyone a chance to compete and win.
But this is more than just individual competition.
The Arizona Long Drive League is building teams and expanding globally, creating hometown rivalries and season-long storylines that bring the intensity of major sports to golf. Teams from different cities and regions will battle throughout the season to earn their place in the playoffs and ultimately compete in the season-ending championship.
As the league grows, hometown heroes will emerge. Fans will follow their teams and players through the highs and lows of competition, creating the drama, suspense, pressure, and emotional moments that make live sports unforgettable.
The league features two signature competition formats:
Pure power. Grip it and rip it.
A dynamic format that rewards both distance and precision. The best of 3 out of 5 balls in the grid is your score. The highest number wins.
Whether you're a competitive golfer, weekend bomber, content creator, or someone who simply loves launching drives, Arizona Long Drive League delivers a fast-paced experience unlike traditional golf tournaments.
This is power, pressure, personalities, rivalries, and raw emotion — all centered around the biggest swing in sports.
Join the fastest and most exciting league in golf.
Made for golfers.

All Power, All Swings, One League
We base your league one's Long Drive Index to promote fairness. With our dynamic flighting, you can now compete in the correct flight.

What is the Long Drive Index™?
Similar to the Handicap Index—which measures a golfer’s potential playing ability based on their best recent scores—the Long Drive Index™ (LDI) measures a golfer’s driving potential based on their best recent driving distances.
In long drive, age isn’t always a predictor of performance. We’ve seen:
LDI creates fairer, more exciting matchups, where everyone competes with others at their own level — regardless of age or experience.
If you’re new to AZLD:
Guest players may compete and establish an LDI, but only members are eligible to accumulate season-long FedEx Cup / 3M Cup points, or participate in the end-of-season championships. This ensures fair competition while still allowing guest players to experience AZLD events.

Our Innovative and proprietary scoring and gaming systems that have proven to be hugely popular for all golfers!
Long drive competitions have long been dominated by the biggest, strongest, and most powerful golfers. Not any more. Introducing Long Drive 3Ball™, where your score is the combined total yardage of your best three drives out of five. And, here’s the reality: only 20% of long drive golfers can hit three out of five balls in the grid, which means Long Drive 3Ball™ is open to virtually anyone.
Distance + Accuracy Matter
Unlike conventional long drive, where raw power often takes center stage, our Long Drive 3Ball™ competition rewards both distance and accuracy. It’s not just about how far you can hit—it’s about keeping 3 of 5 balls in play. Every golfer knows that a drive only counts when it’s in play!
More Competitive for More Golfers
In our format, precision players have a real shot at victory. Many of the longest hitters struggle to keep it in play, which opens the door for golfers with a mix of power and consistency to shine.
A Test of True Driving Skill
Our competition isn’t about brute force—it’s about skill, strategy, and control. Can you step up, unleash your best drive, and keep it in play under pressure? This is where champions are made.
It’s time to rethink long drive. Power is great, but precision wins. Are you up for the challenge?
LongBall is all about pure power and precision. Competitors step up to the tee and unleash their longest drives, battling head-to-head against other golfers of similar age for distance supremacy.

At Arizona Long Drive, we’re building a community of long drive competitors who want to test their power, track their progress, and climb the ranks. That’s why we’ve introduced a membership option—for those who want more from the experience. But if you just want to show up and swing, you’re always welcome to compete as a Guest.
Becoming an AZLD Member unlocks benefits that go beyond each event. It's for competitors who want to level up, earn rewards, and see how they stack up against their competitors.
You can still compete as a Guest. You’ll be provisionally flighted until you establish an Official LDI, but you can still enjoy the thrill of long drive competition—no strings attached.

The Frequent Driver Program is Arizona Long Drive’s free rewards system — designed to thank and reward our members for competing throughout the season. Every time you step into the tee box at an AZLD event, you’re earning points that you can cash in for valuable merchandise, gift cards, and performance services from our growing rewards catalog.

At each event, your final Long Drive 3Ball™ total yardage is multiplied by 300 and divided by your Long Drive Index (LDI). This formula creates a level playing field, allowing both long and short hitters to compete on equal terms and earn comparable points.
But that’s not the only way to score. You can boost your balance even faster with bonus points:
Every drive, every friend, and every follow gets you closer to the next reward!
Why this Formula?
Frequent Driver Points = (Long Drive 3Ball™ × 300) ÷ LDI
Without adjusting for LDI, longer hitters would always dominate the leaderboard. By scaling scores through this formula, we ensure fair competition across all ability levels — so everyone has a real shot at earning great rewards.
Examples:
As you can see, the system ensures that every player—regardless of distance—has the same opportunity to compete for prizes. The more events you play, the more points you earn, bringing you closer to exclusive rewards all season long!
Redeem Your Points for Real Rewards
The points you earn add up all season long — and can be redeemed for premium golf gear, apparel, training services, and exclusive experiences. Everything from custom AZLD golf balls and Star Grips to Titleist Performance Assessments and Starbucks or Sport Clips gift items is available through our Frequent Driver Rewards Catalog.
Participation is completely free for AZLD members — all you have to do is play, compete, and start earning!

The FedEx Cup and 3M Cup are a season-long competition that tracks each player’s total yardage in our LongBall and Long Drive 3Ball™ competitions. At the end of the season, the top male and female LongBall hitters will be awarded the FedExCup, and the top male and female 3Ball™ hitters will earn the 3M Cup!
The more events you enter, the more yards you can accumulate, increasing your chances of winning! Your progress will be tracked after every event, and the leaderboard is available on our website so you can see where you stand!
To ensure fairness, the FedEx/3M Cup standings will be based on each player’s top 5 performances in the regular-season events leading up to the championship. This approach allows all competitors a meaningful path to qualify, even if they missed one or more events.
Step 1: Register for any AZLD event throughout the season.
Step 2: Compete in LongBall and Long Drive 3Ball™ to rack up yardage.
Step 3: Keep an eye on the leaderboard and climb the rankings!
Step 4: Enter multiple events to maximize your yardage total and improve your chances of becoming a champion.

The 1000 Yard Club is the ultimate benchmark of excellence—a prestigious recognition reserved for competitors who achieve an extraordinary feat: a Long Drive 3Ball™ total of at least 1,000 yards for men; 800 yards for women.
Each competitor in our Long Drive 3Ball™ competition hits five balls per round. Their score is determined by the sum of their three longest drives. If that total reaches or exceeds 1,000 yards for men; 800 for women, they earn their place in the exclusive 1000 Yard Club.
Reaching 1,000 yards across three balls requires not just raw power, but also the ability to deliver multiple elite-level drives under competition pressure. Only the longest hitters with supreme control will have what it takes to join this elite club.
Members of the 1000 Yard Club will receive:
Think you have what it takes to go 1,000 yards in three shots? Step up, grip it, and rip it. The 1000 Yard Club awaits!
